Home!

We made it! On Friday December 7 at approximately 5:15 PM ET, Master William Hoyt Dove officially became a citizen of the USA.

William is named for 2 grandfathers and one great-grandfather. My dad is William Charles, and Zack's dad is Benjamin Hoyt. Zack's grandfather was William Hoyt.

We appreciate the 3 sets of grandparents, Josh, and Paula for coming to the airport to welcome us home. It was so nice to see familiar faces as we came up the escalator!

William was so precious last night. Each night since we've had him, we kneel next to the bed and fold our hands to say prayers. Last night as we went in our room he went over to the bed and folded his hands, then looked at Zack and nodded his head. So we knelt and prayed together for the first time at our home as a family of 3. We are so incredibly thankful for the wonderful gift that God has given us!

We went to bed early and got a decent night's sleep but were all up by 4:30 this morning, so William is down for a nap now. Adie is in there protecting him - they are getting along so well!

Poppa would have been so proud to know that his first great grandson has his same name. Of course he also would have loved him immediately the same as the rest of us do.
My emotions are just totally indescribable. To feel this kind of love that has grown over such a short time, and to be compounded when we finally met Master William last night. I wish everyone could hear his infectious little laugh. I wonder if I could record it as a ringtone on my cell? Okay, don't laugh at my idea.
So glad you're finally home, we've missed you so much, but the end result was worth the wait.

Our God is so good and so in control!

Love you all three, excuse me, four. Mom

Hey. What a great name. It is so good to be able to incorporate family names too. Well, you came back to the country and we left the country. So glad you made it home safely and can't wait to meet William when we get back. I think I will have to try hard not to call him little guy. See you soon.

I am so in love with that sweet litle man! All I wanna do is look at him and touch his hair and hug him. Every time we get a new grandchild, I wonder how I could love another one as much as the ones I already have. But, I do!! The love just multiplies. I am sooooo happy for yall and so thankful to God for such a precious little boy who is such a perfect fit for your family. God is good....all the time !! We love yall so much and can't wait to see yall again.

Mimi asks everytime I go about ya'll and our boy. I just didn't tell her his name yet. Will she be in for a surprise when YOU tell her. That is so sweet....Willaim Hoyt and to be able to incorporate tribute to both your dads and a granddad. Papa loved his grandkids so much and would have loved the 4 great-grandchildren he has now. Can't wait to see him!
Glad ya'll are all home and safe.
