Balshoi Deal... Nyet!

We had an interesting day here in Kyiv. We found out that Zack has the Russian Vocabulary of a parrott. He can only repeat words he has heard said over 100 times and even then, they are not exactly right. It's like Southern Russian, redneck Russian. Our son just looks at him sometimes like he has no idea.

We were able to get his Visa finished. It was nice to be on American soil even if only for an hour or so. We are all ready to go home now. As soon as the plane lands, our Little Guy will be an American Citizen and we will let him tell his new name to the few who choose to brave the Atlanta rush hour traffic to meet us.

We ate at McDonald's last night- he didn't like Chicken McNuggets and wasn't too crazy about french fries.

Tonight we ate pizza and he ate about half a piece and was not at all impressed. Maybe when he gets home and tastes Rudy's or Johnny's or Cardamuro's Pizza he will be converted.

The goal for tomorrow is to explore as much of Kyiv as possible and wear out the boy as much as possible and let him stay up as late as he wants so that he will sleep on the flights going home. Tomorrow night we'll try to post some pictures from our adventures.

Next time order him some oatmeal! He's probably used to bland orphanage food!

Have a great trip home. Sleep tight, LG!

We can't wait to see you guys! Give us a call when you are ready for visitors. We can't wait to meet LG and let him tell us his name...is it Preston? ha ha I love the photo of Zack and LG walking together. I thought of Zack & Preston walking together side by side the summer they were together. You guys are wonderful parents and he is a very lucky precious little boy!!! We love you guys!
