We've offically been a family for just over a month now
(Gotcha Day December 3rd)
This is our first family picture (Nov. 9, 2007) - the day we met our boy, 2 months ago today...
And here is our first official family portrait, taken this past weekend by my friend Billy...

William has made incredible progress in the past month. His vocabulary increases everyday. He is extremely helpful around the house and enjoys playing with the neighborhood kids. He likes to say his own prayer before bed each night. He loves church and school and always wants to know what's coming up the next day. He is learning to write his name and knows at least 10 colors in English.
Each day is another chance for William to grow and for us to love him. Each day is further realization of how much God loves us. He has given us an amazing gift in this wonderful, precious little man. And yet, as great as our son is to us, God gave us the greatest gift of all when He sent His Son to earth to die for our sins. Having a son really drives home the huge sacrifice that this had to be for God. So each day we pray that William will begin to understand the amazing love that God has for us, and that he will one day accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
And in this new year, we also pray this for all our friends and family. May God bless you richly in 2008 and beyond!

What a beautiful picture, it brought tears to my eyes. That little fellow would steal anyone's heart. A child really does bring a new meaning to the word "LOVE".
Before reading your blog, when I saw the photo Billy took in the email, I sat and thanked God for blessing yall and William and all of us who love William, beyond our wildest dreams. Until he came into our lives, we couldn't begin to imagine what a blessing he would be in all of our lives. I can't even imagine life without William anymore....we love him so much. God is soooo good....ALL the time.
We love yall,
Mom and Tommy(Gram and T'Daddy)
Thank you for continuing to share your story. It's an inspiration. May God continue to bless your family.
The family picture is just AWESOME! You are such a beautiful family, and William was obviously meant to be your son!
That is a beautiful portrait! What a blessing
I LOVE the picture, Jennifer! We're planning on a family portrait soon too. Good to see how well you guys are doing!
Your family portrait is fantastic! William is such a cute little guy.
It's great to hear things are going so well. Thanks for continuing to post.
We hope that 2008 continues to reveal God's blessings for your family.
All they need is time and love! I was wondering if there is a way to contact you off line or via e-mail as my wife and I will be going thru the same thing without a facilitator. So I have lots of questions. Thanks
Ken - from our blog, you can click on the link on the right hand side, just a little below our Hawaii picture ("CLICK HERE to send us an email").

What a great portrait! He has already changed so much in just a month. What a blessing.
I GUESS WE ALL LOOK AT THINGS DIFFERENTLY, WELL I KNOW WE DO, THE PICTURE YOU CALL MR ATTITUDE LOOKS TO ME LIKE TOTAL CONFIDENCE. IT LOOKS TO ME AS THOUGH HE'S SAYING, I KNOW I'M NOW WHERE GOD INTENDED ME TO BE, I JUST WISH I'D GOTTEN HERE SOONER.
THAT'S OKAY WILLIAM, WE'RE ALL GUILTY OF WANTING GOD TO DO THINGS IN OUR TIME FRAME INSTEAD OF HIS. WILLIAM, YOU WERE WORTH WAITING FOR AND WE LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS. LOVE, BABA
Hey Doves!
That picture is great!!! You guys are really photogenic. (I noticed that Mr. Zack looks a lot skinnier in that second picture! I guess it's that Ukrainian diet taking affect.) ;)
See you soon!
Ethan
