
16 years ago today they officially became an independent nation. So today they celebrate. That means no school. No work. No progress on the adoption.
But we can wait on our progress one more day, while they celebrate their progress! In just a few hours, fireworks will light up the sky. Old and young alike will attend parties, and the population will celebrate a wonderful gift: freedom. I’m thankful that these people are able to celebrate their freedom today.

Thanks for the info. It's interesting to learn about our little guy's homeland. Praying that we will hear very, very soon about a travel date for yall to go get him and bring him home. We can't wait to meet him.

Jennifer, just to let you know: my facilitator told me that SDA announce appointment dates on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm sure you are checking your e-mail like every 5 seconds, so you can relax today :)
